The Hispanic Heritage Celebration in Family and Graduate Housing continues to be a huge success as families from various Hispanic communities came together to share their culture. The event featured an art and cultural exhibit of items donated by families from around the world. There were professional dancers to share and teach various dances. University Housing Apartment residents at Orchard Downs and the Champaign Urbana Community came out to experience this event which received support from La Casa Cultural Latina, the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies, various RSO groups, and other community organizations. This cultural experience was made possible by the residents and the apartment community who collaborated to share their culture.
